Abhishek possess 13+ years of vivid exposure in Marketing, Business Development, Operations, Channel Management in the Skill Development, IT Space and Logistics & Express Distribution Industries.. He has leveraged his knowledge in Account and Project Management, Consulting, Corporate &Training to drive more business through conceptualizing strategies, augmenting & streamlining channel networks. He also has sound knowledge of Market Environment, Government Policies, Systems and Processes of Skilling Industry in India.
Abhishek is keen communicator with an ability to relate to people across all hierarchical levels with excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, strong analytical, problem solving & organisational abilities. He has demonstrated abilities in operations, marketing, customer engagement, proposal design and delivery.

Manager (Enterprise & PR)

Ms. Aaisha is the Manager (Enterprise & Public Relations) at the Security Sector Skill Development Council (SSSDC). She is a Post-Graduate (MBA in HR) from IMT. She has been awarded with Star Performer Award by SSSDC in December, 2014. She is responsible for maintaining effective liaison with concerned Ministries of Government of India related to skilling and with State Controlling Authorities under PSAR ACT 2005. She also handles Marketing & PR related activities for SSSDC. She is also the Spokesperson for stakeholders/TP (Training Providers) affiliation in addition to receiving and screening application for Training Providers as per protocol.

Manager (Special Projects)

Ms Gloria comes from the corporate background with a rich experience of 24 years in a number of varied roles in many top notch multinational companies in New Delhi, Chennai and Gurgaon supporting the senior management. She was also into human resources, recruitments, event management, facility management, health & safety and training. She has done her MBA in HR & Admin and is equipped with certificates on First Aid and Safety. She is currently Manager – Special Projects at SSSDC handling audit and validation of training centers and coordinating on assessments and certifications, managing Academies of Excellence, assisting in development of course content for NSQF, training manuals and processes.

Manager Finance

Gaurav Sachdeva is the Manager-Finance at Security Sector Skill Development Council. He is a qualified chartered accountant from ICAI. He is responsible for the activities of finance, accounts, taxation, and administration department. Prior to security Sector skill Development council, he has handled several projects in the field of accounting, taxation, and finance with various companies like Intertek India, Proptiger Realty, Easy Bill Private Limited.

Senior Manager SQA

Lt Col CS Kalra has served in the Army for 25 years at various executive level and staff (Jul 78 to Sep03). He had taken premature retirement in 2003.
He is a multi-functional Business Development, Administration and Security professional with a unique ability to deliver in most trying circumstances.
After retiring from the Army he worked in senior positions viz. General Manager (Administration and Personnel), Security Coordinator, Chief Operations Manager, Head Adviser Operations, Head Site and Logistics Administration, Deputy Director Standards and Quality Assurance and Director Knowledge and Training.
As Deputy Director Standards and Quality Assurance with Security Knowledge and Skill Development Council he has been part of the team for formulation of National Occupational Standards.
He formulated Standard Operating Procedures for all administrative branches as Head Site and Logistic Administration in an International School in Uganda & established a Training School for Guards and Office for the company at Tamaris, Morocco, being Head Advisor Operation for formation of a joint venture company.
Lt Col CS Kalra as Chief Operation Manager of a security company in Uganda formulated and implemented security systems in the company.
In Afghanistan he developed training material for local Afghans and implemented a defensive plan for a camp site housing 300 employees and machinery.

Master Trainer

Mr G S Shekhawat Inspector General (Retd) joined BSF, the elite paramilitary force of the country, in the year 1971. He has 38 years of pan-India experience having served in various terrains from Jungles in the North East to the Desert and Salt Plains in the West and the Valley & Upper Himalayas in the North. He is a highly decorated officer having been awarded the President’s Police Medal for Meritorious Service in the year ’91 as well as the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service in 2002.He began his career in the armed forces just before the onset of the 1971 Indo-Pak War. He commanded a Coy. deployed in the Sindh province of Pakistan. Post his initial years he was appointed as the Senior Instructor in the prestigious Central School of Weapons and Tactics (CSWT), Indore imparting training to force personnel as well as to IPS probationers from the 1979-83. In 1983, he was posted to the North East where he fought insurgency in Manipur Nagaland area. In 1985, he was selected for deputation to the elite force of the country BLACK CAT COMMANDOS (NSG). While in NSG participated in Op. Black Thunder I & II in the year 86 &’89 and was also responsible for protection of VVIPs as part of his tenure while commanding the VIP squadron.

IG Shekhawat remain deeply involved in fighting militancy while commanding a BSF battalion deployed in downtown Srinagar during peak militancy years of 1992-94. Thereafter he served a Staff Appointment tenure at BSF HQ at Delhi.
In 1996, he was posted to Jammu as DIG Ops, where he was deeply involved in planning and border management on the Jammu border as well as the LOC in Rajouri and Poonch district. Later he took over as sector commander of CI OPS in Rajouri under the Ops control of Romeo Force. While commanding CI OPS.he planned and executed numerous operations and enjoyed immense success for making highest seizures and recoveries on a given day in the history of the force. For his feat, he was awarded many commendation including the Chief of Army Staff commendation , a rare occurrence in paramilitary forces.
In 2002, he took over as DIG OPS at BSF HQ Delhi controlling operations of th entire force. Later on as DIG Logistics directly involved and contributed heavily in the modernization of the force which had a budget of over INR 2300Cr.
His penultimate posting took him once again to the Valley in the role of Principal Staff Officer to deal with matters pertaining to operations, training, logistics, intelligence, administration, discipline, welfare, accounts and legal matters of the Kashmir Frontier.
Mr Shekhawat’s final tenure was as Inspector General Gujarat Frontier at Gandhinagar, where He was directly responsible for the Border Management of 740 Kms. of Indo-Pak border which included the border area from Barmer to Rann of Kutchh and Sir Creek area.
A tireless worker, IG Shekhawat took up numerous assignments post his retirement too. He started off as the Venue Administrator of Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium’s Cycling Velodrome for the Commonwealth Games held in October 2010. Thereafter he was drafted on contract in to the International Cricket Council’s Anti Corruption & Security Unit for the Indian Premier League. He remained associated with the IPL in that capacity for 4 seasons.

CEO

Maj Gen Sanjay Soi (Retd) is an alumini of Officer Training Academy, Chennai. Commissioned in 1982, in the Infantry, KUMAON Regiment, he later moved to NAGA Regiment.  The General Officer has served in varying terrain in Counter Insurgency areas and has had seven postings in J and K.  He took part in number of operations both on LC as well as against militants. The General Officer has been Additional Director General of Rashtriya Rifles and Commander of Junior Leader’s Wing which also trains commandos of Indian Armed Forces, Para Military Forces and friendly foreign countries. Presently the officer in holding the appointment of CEO in SSSDC.

CEO

Maj Gen Ashok Kumar Sakhuja (Retd) is an alumnus of Sainik School Kapurthala and National Defence Academy, Kharakvasla. He was commissioned in the Regiment of Artillery in June 1968. All through his service in the Army, his passion for imparting training to all ranks at various levels enabled him to take up and excel in all Command and Instructional assignments, both within and outside India. A graduate of college of Defence Management, Secunderabad, the General officer superannuated in September 2006 after an illustrious career of 38 years in the Army.

After retirement, he has worked at senior levels in the Private Security Industries having multinational presence. He played significant roles in raising Terra Force Security from the grass roots level, which was a DLF initiative in 2007-2008, transforming Walsons Security in to Multinational Company namely Securitas India Ltd. He also pioneered training initiatives in Pinkerton Ltd and later was consultant with Proman Securitech Ltd, New Delhi.

An exponent of conceptualising, developing and conducting training both in the Army and in the corporate environment, the General officer has attained expertise in the fields of operations and development of Security Skills.

CHAIRMAN

Kunwar Vikram is Chairman of SECURITY SECTOR SKILL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL. He is also Chairman of CENTRAL ASSOCIATION OF PRIVATE SECURITY INDUSTRY (CAPSI) an apex body of Private Security Sector. He is Director of PUNJAB POLICE SECURITY CORPORATION LIMITED, a venture of the Government of Punjab. Kunwar Vikram Singh is Chairman of LANCERS NETWORK LIMITED, a Risk Consulting Corporation. He is 1st Vice President of the WORLD ASSOCIATION OF DETECTIVES (W.A.D). He was Advisor (Internal Security) to Prime Minister of India (1990-1991). He is author of WORLD ENCYCLOPIEDIA OF SECURITY SCIENCE & MANAGEMENT (Seven Volumes).

He is member of the UN Standing Committee on Civilian Private Security-Role in Crime Prevention & Community Safety. He was sent as official delegate to represent Govt of India at the 21st and 22nd UN Commission on Crime Prevention & Criminal Justice, held at UN’s Vienna International Centre.

AWARDS & RECOGNITIONS

Kunwar Vikram Singh was awarded “Investigator of the Year-2006” by World Association of Detectives Inc. (WAD) at its annual conference held at Tokyo, Japan. His professional ability was once again recognised by World Investigators Network (WIN) and he was declared “Best Investigator of the Year-2007” at Lisbon, Portugal. He was awarded “Bharat Suraksha Rattan Award” by APSA at the Global Security Conference-2009 by the President of India.

Kunwar Vikram Singh was bestowed with the prestigious “PRIDE OF INDIA” Award 2015 for his great contribution in the area of internal security, security knowledge & skill development.

LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Kunwar Vikram Singh was bestowed with “Life Time Achievement Award in Intelligence & Investigation” by Sh. Shivraj Patil, Hon’ble Home Minister of India at Bangalore on October 14, 2008.

Mr. Tanquin Hall, an acclaimed British author has written a best seller“The Case of A Missing Servant” which is based on a case solved by Kunwar Vikram Singh. This novel is published by the Random House, London.
